Justice needs to be served
Dear Editor:
Best wishes and godspeed to those injured and impacted by the senseless crash last week in El Jebel. The crash was initiated by a motorist, reportedly here illegally, knowingly ramming another and ended in multiple cars involved, nine people injured and two in the hospital. Countless other morning commuters were delayed and diverted in all directions.
It is mind-boggling to hear the offending driver is issued a “careless driving” citation by the State Patrol.
It is my hope that those at fault are held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Indeed those responsible should be thanking heaven that I will not be the judge in the case.
