Just like everything else

Dear Editor:

The Aspen Times becomes invisible!

Last Wednesday I was in Glenwood to play the Messiah. Just before the concert I needed a little something, so I walked over to the cafe on Grand for a good quiche and coffee. I hadn’t yet read Su Lum’s column so I was anxious to pick up the Aspen Times.

To my dismay I had a hard time finding it — it was utterly indistinguishable from all the other papers there, save the Aspen Daily News. If whoever chose the new “fashionable design,” with its clunky masthead and uninviting layout, feels unable to reverse course on the basis of design, at least think of your distribution!
