Just doin’ his job

Dear Editor:Please, don’t kill the messenger. Letters to the editor have been severely critical of Tim Ware, Aspen parking director, for the change in carpooling regulations that require two adults in a car in order to receive a car-pool permit. Tim did not make this decision. He only acted upon direction from City Council – his job. City Council made the decision. Any complaints or appeals for a change should be brought to City Council. Please let City Council hear from you if you disagree with this or any other regulation approved by the council. City staff does not deserve to be criticized for decisions they didn’t make.Helen Kalin KlanderudAspen mayor
