Judith Ann Carew, 52, of Fort Myers, Fla., passed away on Jan. 8, 2007.
She was born Oct. 28, 1954, in Baltimore, graduated from North Kingstown High School in Rhode Island, moved to Florida for a year, and then moved to Aspen/Denver, where she worked as a flight attendant for Aspen Airways and Air Wisconsin from 1981 to 1992. Judy lived in the Roaring Fork Valley until moving to Fort Myers in 1998.
Judy is survived by sisters Karen Hillebrand of Basalt, Catherine Fines of West Greenwich, R.I., Maureen and Gwyneth Carew of Carbondale, Jennifer Padden of Billings, Mont., and their families; and her brothers, Robert Carew of Daniel Island, S.C., Peter and Michael Carew of West Greenwich, R.I., and their families; and niece and nephew Lauren and William Marsh of Jamestown, R.I. Judy is also survived by an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Carew and Gwyneth Gibson, and sister Suzanne Marsh.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Our Lady of Mercy Church in East Greenwich, R.I. A reception will follow from noon to 4 p.m. at the O Club at Quonset Point in Davisville, R.I. A celebration of Judy’s life follow in the Roaring Fork Valley at a future date in the spring.
