Join us for drinks and election talk
Dear Editor:
The Aspen Chamber Resort Association is sponsoring a 2012 Issues and Answers Election Forum at the Limelight Hotel today. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the program begins at 4:30. The event is free and open to all. Happy-hour specials will be available.
This will be a moderated forum with representatives from both sides of the issues participating in their respective discussion and question-and-answer sessions. The three ballot issues are city of Aspen 2B – school sales tax; city of Aspen 2C – hydroelectric question; and Pitkin County Library District 5A and 5B – library expansion.
On behalf of the Aspen Chamber, I want to thank the Limelight Hotel for providing the venue for this event and the panel participants for your willingness to represent your positions on the issues so we can become better-informed voters.
Please join us today for happy hour at the Limelight, and get answers to your questions on the three ballot issues.
