Join the Democrats
Dear Editor:
The Pitkin County Democratic Party shall hold its reorganization meeting (election of officers) at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Aspen Square Hotel Conference Room located at 617 E. Cooper Ave. in downtown Aspen (across from Mezzaluna restaurant).
All registered Pitkin County Democrats are eligible to vote for the party’s officers. Nominations will be taken from the floor. This is the grassroots level of our party. Please join us and participate in these elections.
Following the election of officers, since Tuesday is also the night of President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address, we also shall host a State of the Union watch party. The Aspen Square Hotel Conference Room has a television, so please plan to stay and watch the address with your fellow Pitkin County Democrats. We shall
be serving munchies, soft drinks
and wine. Please RSVP to blancainaspen@aol.com.
Blanca O’Leary
Chairwoman, Pitkin County Democrats
