Joe knows Pitkin
Dear Editor:
We have enjoyed 24 years of “common sense” law enforcement administered by the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office under the guidance of Bob Braudis, and we have the opportunity to extend that by electing Joe DiSalvo as our next sheriff. I respectfully urge my friends and neighbors to vote for Joe on Nov. 2.
Rick Leonard may be a very nice man but he is a newcomer to our valley, and that makes me rather nervous. Joe knows Pitkin County and he knows its residents well. And he understands the concept of “common sense.” He has my vote for sure.
