Jessie E. Kittle

Lifelong valley resident Jessie E. Kittle died Aug. 8 at Heritage Park Care Center in Carbondale. She was 84 years old.

She was a homemaker and mother, and she loved the Denver Broncos.

Kittle was born in Meredith on Oct. 18, 1918, to Frederick Morgan Williams and Ethyl Grace Steele. She married Elden H. Kittle on July 10, 1938, in Glenwood Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, six brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by son Wyland Kittle (Judith); grandson Mark Kittle (Sunny); daughter Judean Glassier (Hugh); grandsons Tony Glassier (Dana), Gary Glassier and Jerad Glassier (Erin); brother Harry Williams (Florence); five great-granddaughters and one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

Interment was at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs, on Aug. 12, with Reverend Fred Amborn officiating.

The family suggests memorials be made to Roaring Fork Hospice, P.O. Box 1970, Glenwood Springs, CO 81602.
