Jerome booking is good for business
I completely agree with Leah Davis (“We should be grateful for Jerome booking,” Letters to the Editor, Jan. 14, The Aspen Times).
Congratulations to the daughter of Jeffrey Verschleiser on her bat mitzvah in Aspen this past weekend. I know a lot of working folks in Aspen appreciate the business opportunities generated by hosting these festivities. Way to go!
Might I also suggest that if Verschleiser does not own a home in Snowmass, I would urge him to buy one. There are a lot of beautiful homes in Snowmass. Many are slope-side. And it would be my management company’s pleasure to take good care of Verschleiser’s Snowmass home whenever he and his family are away.

The city of Aspen’s office building is exempt from paying encroachment fees, yet private developers have to now pay $9 a square foot, per month, starting in 2020.
