Jeanne L. Bartlett

Jeanne L. Bartlett died peacefully at her home on Monday, Feb. 8, 2010. She was 84.

She was born on Feb. 9, 1925 in Muskegon, Mich., and had been a resident of North Muskegon most of her life and a part-time resident of Aspen since 1974. She married George W. Bartlett, on Sept. 11, 1948.

She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Lou Mobley, her step-brothers, Erwin A. Larsen Jr. and Donald E. Larsen, and her step-sister, Virginia L. Ocker.

Also among Jeanne’s survivors are her eight grandchil­dren: Maegan M. Bartlett, Spencer L. Bartlett, Matthew E. Bartlett, Erik B. Johnson, Emily J. Johnson, George R. John­son, Patrick B. Fink and Nathaniel D. Fink, and her step-­granddaughter, Kim Van Den Berg.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, George W. Bartlett of North Muskegon, Mich.; her son, Bruce L. Bartlett (Elena) of Holmdel, N.J.; her daughters, Laura B. (Robert) Johnson of Centennial and Sara B. Fink ( Jeffrey) of Chicago, Ill.

She will be remembered as a committed and loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to so many. The family will be holding a private service.
