Jack Wood
Jack Wood died Oct. 8, 2005, at Aspen Valley Hospital. He was 68 years old.Jack was born on May 12, 1937, in Joplin, Mo., to Paul E. and Pauleta Wood. He married Carolyn Tunnell on Aug. 25, 1956, in Dumas, Texas. They had two children, Jack F. (Shirley) Wood Jr. and Pam (Randy) Wood Losey. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at Farnum-Holt Funeral Chapel, 405 W. Seventh St., Glenwood Springs. A reception will follow at 905 Lupine Circle in Basalt. The Rev. Tom Rittenhouse will officiate.

Roaring Fork School District loses students, worries about loss in funding
