Jack is not in a box

Dear Editor:I am voting for Jack Johnson as a member of Aspen City Council because he is not a one-issue candidate or a man with an agenda. He’s been around and seen enough to look at the big picture.Jack rolled up his sleeves and got in the dirt, working as an ambassador for the Aspen Skiing Company, serving as a member of the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission and on citizen task forces, working at the tourist kiosk, volunteering at Aspen FilmFest, IDCA, and heading committees for the Aspen Art Museum and AGLCF.He’s been a Hickory House bartender, an architect, and a kitchen designer. He’s lived in rental housing, employee housing, and now resides in the last of the great ski-bum digs, the Mine Dumps. He’s energetic, optimistic, intelligent, informed and delightful.Jack seems to be everywhere and into everything around town. He loves Aspen, but he loves it with his head as well as his heart. He deserves to help in deciding its future. Vote Jack!Sara GartonAspen
