Ittner embodies positive change
October 18, 2010
As a resident and professional business person living in Aspen for just short of 20 years, I would like to encourage you to vote for Rob Ittner for county commissioner. We need a change in local government, and a vote for Rob is a vote for positive change. Our government needs to provide more fiscal responsibility, more transparency and more professionalism. We need a government with business sense. And Rob is the candidate with the qualifications to help accomplish this.
Rob is an accomplished and successful business owner. He understands what businesses and residents in this community need. As the past market president for American National Bank for nine years, I had the opportunity to see Rob’s fiscal capabilities and business management skills first-hand.
Rob has also shown his dedication to this community in various volunteer positions, such as a board member of the Aspen Young Professionals Association (AYPA), a member of the ACRA board and a volunteer for the Buddy Program, among others. As the founder of the AYPA, I chose Rob as one of eight other young professionals in this community to help start the organization because I knew he had a great commitment to this community and would help this organization to succeed. With Rob’s leadership on the board for six years, AYPA grew into an organization with more than 250 members, providing a valuable resource to this community.
Rob is also an avid outdoorsman who cares about our environment. When he’s not running his successful business, you can find him hiking 14ers, biking and skiing.
Rob is just the change that is needed now in our local government. He is honest, intelligent, hard working and considerate of our environment and community. A vote for Rob Ittner for county commissioner is a vote for positive change in this community.
