Ittner brings fresh ideas

Dear Editor:

I would like to encourage all voters to elect Rob Ittner for county commissioner on Nov. 2. He is truly a local who is putting down roots and wants to make a difference in our community. As an owner of affordable housing and of a successful, local business, Rob understands the needs and concerns of our community, and he has a genuine passion to be apart of Pitkin County’s future.

Rob is an amazing person who brings amazing energy with him in whatever he sets out to accomplish. He donates his time and resources to many organizations in town. As a business owner, he understands how to effectively get the job done and has a “real” sense of the concerns, challenges and frustrations of both the business owners and the local workers in the valley.

What most impressed me at first when Rob joined the political race was his logical manner of looking at an issue. It became apparent very quickly the intellectual approach he takes when making a decision. With Rob as commissioner we will have someone who listens to both sides of the issues, asks good relevant questions and then makes an objective decision based on the needs of the community, not someone who goes into an issue with their own preconceived agenda. His objectivity and the intellect that goes into his thought process really sets him apart from others. Voting for Rob Ittner will bring fresh, innovative, objective ideas to the BOCC.
