It’s Jack vs. Dee at the polls today

Aspen voters will head to the polls today to choose between City Council candidates Jack Johnson and Dee Malone.The two candidates emerged from the May 3 election as contenders on a runoff ballot.Polling booths will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at four locations:Precinct 1 voters should head to the former youth center at 455 Rio Grande Place; Precinct 2 polling will take place at St. Mary Catholic Church on Main Street; Precinct 3 will set up at the Common House at the Common Grounds housing complex, 701 Independence Place; and voters in Precincts 4 and 5 will cast ballots at First Baptist Church, 726 W. Francis St.Election results will be posted at as soon as they’re available tonight.
