It’s getting creepy
Dear Editor:
Back in the 1960s when the Chicago convention was hosting a police riot, I was living in Draycott-in-the-Clay, England, trying to write books. Draycott-in-the-Clay was everything it sounds like ” way out in the sticks of England’s Midlands. Still, I learned a lot more about what was going on 4,000-plus miles away than I’m learning about the police riot in the Twin Cities where Amy Goodman and her crew along with several other journalists were roughed up by official thugs for covering the convention.
And what is this I’m hearing about the war in Iraq being “the will of God!” coming from a potential leader of the U.S.?
Personally, I find all of this very, very creepy.
