It’s bonus time at Aspen Highlands.

The ski area will reopen for the first of two bonus weekends starting Saturday. All Aspen-Snowmass season passes are valid just as they are during the regular season. Discounted extension days will be offered for Flex, Classic and Mountain Collective passholders. In addition, passholders from other resorts can also present their season pass at the Highlands ticket office and receive discounted lift tickets.

Reduced-price lift tickets will be offered for adults, teens, children and seniors.

The shuttle will not be operating between Buttermilk and Highlands, but parking will be free at the garage at Highlands.

Aspen Skiing Co. officials earlier said they anticipate opening 100 percent of the terrain, including Highland Bowl. The Exhibition, Loge Peak and Deep Temerity chairlifts will operate 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Highlands will close Monday, then reopen April 30 and May 1.
