Is it any wonder?

Every time I see the Obermeyer ad in the paper, I feel a bit ill. It reminds me of slimy developers in bed with sleazy city officials, conspiring to convert public property and money into private profits. They are getting ready to do it again up by the courthouse.

Convenience and Welfare of Profiteers. If the city had any concept of the public welfare, they would be doing everything in their power to rein in the development which is wrecking the town. Instead they have become developers themselves. Aspen is no longer a ski resort, it’s a real estate development. Is it any wonder there are more real estate offices than ski shops downtown?
