Is a berry buffet in order?
Dear Editor:I’m confused. If there are no berries or acorns for the bears to eat, and we lock up our Dumpsters so that they can’t eat our delicious garbage and they are starving, do we give them any alternative but to break into our houses, where they suspect there may be food? What would you do? Lay down and die? I don’t understand why the Division of Wildlife doesn’t drop berries and acorns into their natural habitat to keep them alive and us safe.We are told that once a bear tastes human food they become like meth addicts. Where were all these meth addicts last year when they had plenty of berries and acorns to eat?Peg McGavockAspen
