Ireland not beholden to ‘moneyed few’

Dear Editor:

I am already sick of the “Sick of Mick” campaign.

Those “Sick of Mick” people deserve Herbert Hoover. Actually they should go recruit the mayor of Vail (whomever that is) as it seems like a Vail is what they want.

Who can leap tall buildings in a single bound? I don’t know – I think he or she is practicing in Vail.

I for one am thankful that there is someone looking after the long-term interests of all in our community, instead of the short-term interests of the moneyed few. I hope Mick is mayor as long as it’s legal and then becomes a county commissioner again. Maybe then we will be landing 737s or their equivalent and he will bulldoze the runway expansion.

All seriousness aside: What better way to grow our property values than to create a town that considers the environment as a design system of living, playing and learning.
