Dear Editor:
I saw Sarah Palin speak in Searchlight, Nev., and was spurred to action.
I found myself driving my big American car down 82 and I pulled up next to a guy driving a Subaru with an Obama sticker on it, just like Sarah said.
I rolled down my window and, echoing Sarah, I said, “sooo how’s that hopey changey thing workin’ for ya?” The driver looked over at me and said, “Que?”
A little later I came up to another guy driving a Subaru with an Obama sticker on it. I motioned for him to roll down his window, and when he did I said, “sooo how’s that hopey changey thing workin’ for ya?” He replied, “not bad … and why are you talking like a 12-year-old cheerleader?” I didn’t realize people were going to answer and had to improvise. I yelled a couple lines from “Braveheart” at him and drove off.
