Inspired by a liberal
Dear Editor:
Paul Andersen’s column of Aug. 30 made me mad at first. But, later I was just sad. How can anyone who has benefited from the freedoms and successes of America not respect it?
Now I better understand the mentality of the Obama liberals in this nation. They don’t love our country and don’t like us, their neighbors, who embrace our American heritage. His article has given me energy to work hard to be sure people like him don’t rule America.

Aspen City Council puts brakes on Old Powerhouse Preservation Project
With many lingering questions still surrounding the fate of Aspen’s historic Old Powerhouse, City Council decided during Monday’s work session to hold off on providing staff direction on moving the preservation project forward until more information can be presented.
