Inspiration from tragedy
Dear Editor:New Year’s Day is the second anniversary of the murder of our precious child, wife and friend, Josanna Morningstar Reece. We want every one to enjoy the holiday season but please do not drink and drive. We wish her friends a beautiful new year. We find this poem from her to be inspirational.Always remember, that love never dies. When our souls are released,All the ones we loved when we’re here,Are always with us.Doesn’t matter near or far,Love knows where we are.So dry your tears, and cry not for meCause I’m in heaven and I can see.Make me happy and enjoy your time,Look towards the heaven from earth divine.Morningstar, O morning lightKiss my mom and hold her tight.Josanna Morningstar Reece Aug. 17, 1982 to Jan. 1, 2005: a child of the mountains. From Steve and Janelle, Doug, Scotty, Melodye and FranJanelle HonerPahoa, Hawaii
