Industrial hell

(This letter was also addressed to CDOT and local “representatives.”)

A tunnel? Underground, cement walled, fluorescent lighting is about the grimmest way I can think of to enter one of the most beautiful towns in this country! The alignment would be fine, but leave that kind of gritty, dusty, smelly, industrial Hell for the big cities and Vail’s parking garage! If this is as appalling to anyone else as it is to me, please write another letter like this so they’ll know the community is outraged before it’s too late! HONK, HONK, ECHO, Echo, echo.
