In support of Limelite’s plans

(This letter was originally addressed to the city of Aspen.)Dear Editor:I am writing his letter in support of the redevelopment of the Limelite Lodge. As a 30-year local and director of a local nonprofit performing arts group, I cannot say enough positive things about the love and dedication the Paas family has for the community of Aspen.I have watched these 30 years as the family-owned-business concept has virtually disappeared in Aspen. Having seen the plans for this project and having compared them to many of the ongoing big corporate projects in both Aspen and Snowmass, I can find no reason not to approve this development.The Limelite Lodge, its future and its history, are crucial to the integrity of Aspen. Please do not walk away from the beautiful history of this family and its lodge, and let us not race carelessly into the future.Ray Vincent AdamsAspen
