In support of a creator
August 17, 2005
Dear Editor:The old theory of intelligent design is getting a bad name these days. Pseudo-scientists spurn a creator in favor of the theory of evolution. That theory cannot be proven true by the scientific method. But the gospel of science still attracts many worshipers. We wonder if anyone remembers the first line in the Declaration of Independence? America’s Founding Fathers assumed that their rejection of England’s rule followed the laws of nature and nature’s God.The choice between incomplete science and a faith-based belief in creation is easy. If it was good enough for George Washington and the representatives of the United States to believe in a creator, it’s good enough for me.Be Brave Comrades.KNCB MooreSanta Barbara, Calif.
