In God we trust

I thought the editorials in both papers (yoga in our schools) were very good, and I thought your slant on being consistent was something we all need to think about. However, you forgot about money.

All of our money says, “IN GOD WE TRUST” on it (in all caps, no less), so it could be construed that passing money to someone would be the same as spreading “the word.”

Since we can’t have this in our schools, I propose a plan: All students and teachers should immediately be prohibited from bringing U.S. currency onto school grounds.

And I am willing, on my own time and at my own expense, to go over to the school and confiscate any money I find on teachers, students, parents, or in any locker.

This blatant intrusion of religion in our schools must be stopped immediately, and I’m ready to help ? 24/7.
