In defense of plastic bags

Dear Editor:

We have many uses for plastic bags when they get to our house.

Has anyone ever thought of the health problems from reusing and reusing cloth bags? I personally don’t want to put our food in a bag that has already been used. Yuk, yuk.

Big contamination concern here, and we don’t really want to spend our dollars to keep buying cloth bags. How about the grocery stores having a recycle bin for the plastic bags? How about the curbside trash program having a grocery bag pick-up program? If plastic bags “flying around” bother you ” pick them up.
