I’m looking for you

Dear Editor:

On Tuesday, Feb. 10, I was legally parked with my residential permit at the corner of East Hyman and South West End Street in Aspen just across from the Hy-West Condos. Sometime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. someone hit my 2003 silver 4Runner, damaging my driver’s side mirror, door and front quarter panel. There was no note and no call made to police.

If you saw anything that day that might help me locate the driver of the vehicle that hit me and drove away without a care or a thought, please contact me. If you have any information that leads me to this person, I’ll pay you $100.

If you are that driver, please take some personal responsibility and either call me directly or contact Vanessa Olson at the Aspen Police Department. What you did was wrong. It’s not too late for you to come forward. Yes, the economy is tough right now, but your mistake should not be my financial liability.

Meantime, I’m looking for you …
