I’m also mad at The Aspen Times
As a community, we are outraged at the ridiculous Aspen Times’ censorship of the online comments section. Do the editors feel the need to “pre-approve” comments now? Great.
Why does the corporate Aspen Times feel the need to protect us from ourselves? From what? Who are these overlords?
Thanks, but no thank you.
My European friends say that in America, you are free. Free to do what they tell you can do. Recently, Air America talk show host Nicole Sandler was arrested for being “unruly” at Florida Congressman Allen West’s town-hall meeting when she tried to ask a follow-up question when the congressman (in full military garb) refused to answer her original question. Enough said.
Start a dialogue, stay on topic and be civil.

The city of Aspen’s office building is exempt from paying encroachment fees, yet private developers have to now pay $9 a square foot, per month, starting in 2020.
