I’ll buy the gas

Dear Editor:

Lee (Mulcahy), give it up.

First of all, Lee, the Aspen Skiing Co. is well aware of the National Labor Relations Act. And, no, they do not think they are above the law.

Secondly, the Aspen Skiing Co. has spoken. There is no need for them or the Crown family to send a member of their family to your instant meeting.

Outside magazine rated the Aspen Skiing Co. as one of the nation’s top employers of 2009-10. This speaks volumes about Skico.

Your actions of slipping a flier under the doors at the Little Nell Hotel, passing out fliers at the base of the gondola at Snowmass and other actions are nothing short of rude, insulting and demeaning.

Lee, you seem not to be able to understand that when somebody takes the offer to work for Skico as an instructor, no one is holding a gun to their head to make them do so.

Once you realize you are no longer wanted or needed as a part of this great community, let me know. I’ll help pack your car and even buy you some gas.
