Hydro foes lack transparency

Dear Editor:

I believe that the hydro issue comes down to a couple of things. The first consideration is one’s beliefs concerning the future of energy production and one’s perceived responsibility toward making wise choices for our future.

The second issue is trust. I do believe that the city has our environmental best interests at heart and take their responsibility in this regard quite seriously. On the other hand, I will never trust any group that will not reveal all of its donors. Anonymity only serves to point out an effort to conceal information and intentions, and I cannot support any effort that is not completely transparent.
