How to be on Time

Aspen Times writer

Roaring Fork Valley residents and visitors will have a rare opportunity to see every one of the Time Person of the Year covers as originally published at the home of Ken and Carol Adelman in Aspen on Thursday. The event, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., is a benefit for The Aspen Institute’s community programs in the Roaring Fork Valley. Walter Isaacson, who was managing editor of Time during selection of the Person of the Year covers from 1996 through 2001 and is now president and CEO of The Aspen Institute, will provide commentary, telling how Time made the selections and why.Contact Cristal Logan at the institute at 544-7929 for information about how to attend.
