How about a real bailout? |

How about a real bailout?

Dear Editor:

Rather than bailout Wall Street with $700 billion of taxpayer money, why not bailout every one of our 310,000,000 American citizens with a $2,258 bonus, or every man, woman and child on the planet with a $100-plus bonus?

If the suggestion seems ridiculous, the fact that our national debt is already $8 trillion and this new expenditure would raise it to $11.3 trillion is beyond ridiculous.

Keep the pressure your representatives to say “no” to the bailout even if it’s up for a vote again at a “bargain” price of half a trillion.

Enough is enough.
