Housing hurdle too high

Dear Editor:As we get ready to come out and visit our son, who has been employed for the last four years in the Aspen/Snowmass area and has always lived in Snowmass, it saddens his father and me that he has no options for affordable housing. Yes, when a unit becomes available he can put his name in the lottery and, yes, they are building more, but at what price? Certainly not affordable to one with his income. He would be a wonderful addition to Snowmass Village as a permanent resident. He loves and cares about the town and people.Julia GaskellChapel Hill, N.C.
