Hospice appreciates support

Dear Editor:Roaring Fork Hospice would like the communities of the Western Slope from Aspen to Parachute to know how deeply appreciative we are for your outpouring of support, encouragement and love. November was National Hospice Awareness month. As such, we received more than the average amount of publicity for the work we do. Papers up and down the valley ran stories featuring patient care, staff profiles and fund-raising needs. Radio stations opened their airwaves to us, and our annual Loving Tree event was the most successful ever. Once again The Little Nell, the Hotel Colorado and the Battlement Mesa Activity Center assisted in hosting incredibly moving, meaningful and beautiful evenings of camaraderie, food, music and memories. I’m sure the families and individuals we care for join us in heartfelt gratitude and warm wishes for every person reading this to make each day meaningful. We hope your holidays find you surrounded with the warmth of friends and the love of family. Thank you for so obviously embracing everything hospice stands for. Sean JuengRoaring Fork Hospice staffGlenwood Springs
