Horse show Saturday at Cozy Point
Aspen Riding Academy will host its second annual horse show in the indoor arena at Cozy Point Ranch on Saturday.
Founded in 2018, Aspen Riding Academy aims to create opportunities for children and adults in the Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley to enjoy riding and working with horses.
The academy works in conjunction with the Aspen Equestrian Team and is looking to develop other outreach programs within the community.
The show also is produced as part of a larger organization, the Colorado West Hunter Jumper Association, which is an affiliate association of the United States Equestrian Federation and the United States Hunter Jumper Association. More information on the organization can be found at http://cwhja.com.
Breakfast and lunch from the Paonia-based “Bottoms Up Farm” will be available for purchase Saturday. The horse show will begin at 8 a.m. and is slated to end around 8 p.m. A full schedule of the show can be found at http://www.horseshowing.com/show_upload/6451/27.pdf
