Horse equipment needed
Dear Editor:The Emily Griffith Center in Rifle, is looking for good used horse equipment for its Trails to Trust therapy program. If you have never heard of this program you are missing a wonderful asset to the community. Therapy with horses is a wonderful tool that we use to assist the boys that live at our facility. Many of the residents have abuse and neglect issues that we deal with by using horses to help the boy speak. This requires intense use of horses and tack. Please look in your barn or tack shed to see if there is not something you could donate to this worthy cause. Also mark your calendar for April 30, at the Garfield County Fairgrounds in Rifle, for the 2nd annual Trails to Trust Gymkhana. Call Erin at 970-625-4446, ext. 35, or Lori Bennett at 970-625-3187 for donation pickup or gymkhana information.Lori Bennett, TTT volunteerRifle
