Aspen students earn collegiate Honor Roll accolades
Colgate University Class of 2018 member Sebastian Weberg of Aspen has earned the fall Dean’s Award with Distinction.
The Dean’s Award with Distinction at Colgate is awarded to students with a 3.6 or higher term average.
Diana Flores, a graduate of Aspen High School, member of the Colgate Class of 2020, and Seamus Crowley, a graduate of Aspen High School and member of the Colgate Class of 2018, both earned Dean’s Awards Award for academic excellence for having a GPA of 3.3 or higher during the fall semester.
Catherine Corona of Basalt and a member of the Class of 2018 at Pomfret School was named to the winter 2016-17 Honors List for having a GPA of at least 3.33 and receiving no grade lower than a B-.
Pomfret School is an independent college preparatory school for boarding and day students in grades 9 through 12 in Connecticut.

Volunteers are being sought by the city and county to serve on the Aspen-Pitkin County Housing Authority board. Over a dozen people have applied so far and today is the deadline.
