Hockey Night goes big

Dear Editor:

The Aspen Mother Puckers women’s hockey teams hosted “Hockey Night in Aspen” last Saturday at the Ice Garden. Pucks were chucked, T-shirts bought and proudly worn, the Fans From Hell screamed their support and some great hockey was played by the A and B teams.

We would like to thank the following businesses and individuals for their support: DJ Don Chaney and KSNO radio, Local Spirits Liquors, the Viceroy, Tasters Pizza, Brunelleschis, Base Camp, Robert Hinch, LJ Erspamer and the staff at the Ice Garden.

Look for more Hockey Night events next season as the Mother Puckers continue our tradition of supporting hockey opportunities for women, and the pursuit of excellence on the ice.

MP2 team co-captain
