Hit letter on Mason Morse unwarranted

Dear Editor:

In reference to Anita Rayburn’s letter to the editor in your edition of July 5, her criticism of Mason Morse is completely unfounded.

If Ms. Rayburn had bothered to look more closely, she would have learned that Mason Morse is donating its tent space to local nonprofits all summer to bring their messages to the patrons of the Saturday Market at no charge.

As one of the recipients of Mason Morse’s generosity, I want to express our appreciation for the opportunity to publicize the mission and activities of the Independence Pass Foundation, which occupied the Mason Morse booth on Saturday, June 26. Mason Morse may be getting a little advertising value from their tent but they are assuredly not selling real estate from it.

Stop by there next Saturday and see which local nonprofit organization is getting a little “face time” with the shoppers at the Saturday Market!

Mark Fuller

director, Independence Pass Foundation
