Dear Editor:The plan to double bus service on the Highway 82 corridor continues to roll along, and no amount of reality can stand in its way. The last of the environmental documents necessary to qualify for $25 million in federal funds was an environmental assessment, and the public comment period for it is closed.Don’t be too concerned if you missed getting your comments submitted in time – they are only reviewed by the two agencies involved in producing the study.However, we didn’t want the public record to be completely empty, so just in the nick of time the following was submitted: http://www.entrancesolution.com/History.htm#EA_BRTIt’s about eight pages long and not all that suspenseful, but if you’re in the market for recreational reading this little expos serves as a fairly representative example of why the USA is bankrupt.Jeffrey EvansBasalt
