Higher taxes not a partisan issue

Higher taxes is not a partisan issue. As a small business owner in Aspen for 12 years, I am opposed to paying higher taxes. In tough times such as these (and for the next four or five years), we should pay taxes at the lower rate the Home Rule Charter provides. Higher taxes are usually passed on to all tenants, business and residential.

Let’s cut expenses in all government departments across the board, and not just target senior services and charitable organizations.
