Aspen Highlands hosted two straight Sundays of closing parties. Despite dismal weather with sleet and gray skies, Easter’s celebration drew the larger crowd. Apres-skiers and snowboarders were in rare form for the final fiesta of the season with wigs, one-pieces, and bunny ears abound.

ZG Grill provided the prime venue for the high-octane event. Six-piece band Waste Deep played to the crowd inside with their mighty horns and groovin’ strings sections. Outdoors, it was DJ Dylan who brought the crowd to their feet and kept the deck rockin’ till dark. With the massive amount of revelers congregating on the scene, it came as little surprise when the power went out several times throughout the party.

The next big celebrations take place this Sunday with closing day at Aspen Mountain and Snowmass. Get ready to break out the retro skiwear for the final winter shindigs.
