High school has real meals
Carbondale
Where’s the beef? What bull ” your story on The Lunch Room Co. not serving beef.
My kids go to school in Aspen, and I’ve seen the lunches there. You could get eyestrain looking for beef, or any other kind of meat, in the lunches before the mad-cow bull. I love the line at the end of the story, where Ms. Owsley says, “I’m not serving something to Aspen’s school kids that I wouldn’t serve my own family.” She is a vegetarian, of course she wouldn’t serve beef to her family.
If you want a real meal, all the kids know to go to the high school lunch room.
