Help Bryan get some sleep

Yesterday, April 10, was my birthday (presents only, if you really want to), and as I was finishing my 280th sit-up at the gym, dreaming of being a size six, one of my store clients pointed out to me that my home away from home, All Us Ladies, was in the paper.

Su Lum, I remember that Saturday when you, Jeanne and Doris stopped in at All Us Ladies, searching for that ultimate, but elusive, great fitting black pant.

Servicing the locals in a retail way is our total mission, to have what you need or leap over tall merchandise marts to get it. So, from one longtime local to another, we absolutely have to solve Bryan Welker’s dilemma. He is a great ad rep for The Aspen Times, with cute boyish charm, so thanks for re-promoting him back to lieutenant.

We are here for you, Su, so don’t despair. Just call us with your style number on the pant, and we will try to replace all three pairs free of charge.

From the bottom of my heart, thanks for the press, and mentioning our little, but very local, shop in Basalt. Your column, Slumming, is priceless.

P.S. Whomever has Su’s pants, do the right thing. Bryan really needs some sleep.
