Help a fellow Aspenite

Dear Editor:

Beloved longtime local Sean Groover was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment in Seattle. A benefit fundraiser for Sean will be held at Syzygy/Ute City restaurants in Aspen on Sunday, Dec. 5.

If you would like to donate items or gift certificates for the silent auction, or to volunteer to help with the event, please call Mark at 319-9833, Susan at 923-2226 or Joey at 379-0153. Financial donations are already being gratefully accepted at any Alpine Bank, Sean Groover Benefit Account.

Sean is well-known as a veteran fly-fishing guide, longtime bartender at Syzygy, city golf champion, city chess champion, as well as a skier, paraglider pilot and poker player extraordinaire!

With your support we can “help Aspen get her Groove back!” Thank you.

David Frank
