Helen Zoller
Helen Zoller, a longtime Aspen visitor and homeowner, died Jan. 27, after a short illness.
Zoller spent her summers in Aspen for 30 years and was a frequent attendee and supporter at the Aspen Music Festival and School.
She is survived by her husband Larry; sister Miriam Shorr; children Steven, Fred and Martha; and grandchildren Adam, Jessica, Joshua, Isaac, Nathan and Dylan.
Funeral services were held Jan. 29 in Mexico City. Interment was Jan. 31 near Zoller’s birthplace on Long Island, N.Y.
Aspen City Council puts breaks on Old Powerhouse Preservation Project
With many lingering questions still surrounding the fate of Aspen’s historic Old Powerhouse, City Council decided during Monday’s work session to hold off on providing staff direction on moving the preservation project forward until more information can be presented.
