Longtime Aspen resident Harland Adams died Nov. 28, 2005, two days after his 73rd birthday, at Cape Canaveral (Fla.) Hospital.He is survived by his wife, Donna Adams, his son, Rhett Snyder of Boulder, and his daughter, Tiffany Adams of Ward.Harland was well-known in Aspen/Snowmass – he named the ski run Adams Avenue at Snowmass, through a lottery by the ski company. He owned a cabin between the Campground run and Lower Powderhorn, with views of Mount Daly. He and Donna lived in Merritt Island, Fla., but maintained a condominium in Snowmass, where they visited, summer and winter.No definite plans for an Aspen memorial service have been made.
