Great wall of snow

Courtesy photoLocal unicyclist Mike Tierney stops to pose under a massive wall of snow Sunday during a ride to the top of Independence Pass. "Incredible day ... great climb, great weather and really fun on top partying with people that rode up from Leadville," Tierney wrote in an e-mail to The Aspen Times. The Colorado Department of Transportation is still clearing snow at the top of the pass, but is now hoping to have it open to motorized travel on June 6.
